PUBLIC COMMENT: This is the time for citizens to comment on subject matters not on the agenda and that are within the jurisdiction of the Hanford City Council. This is also the public’s opportunity to request an item from the Consent Calendar be pulled for discussion purposes or to comment on any item on the agenda. City Clerk: Approval of the Minutes of the August 18, 2020 Meeting. C. Public Works: Approval for the purchase of commercial trash and recycle dumpsters from Wastequip of Taft, CA in an amount not to exceed $96,285 for fiscal year 2020/21 (tax and freight included). D. Public Works: Approval of the purchase of one 250 HP turbine motor for Water Well operation, from Telstar Instruments of Hanford, in the amount of $25,891. E. Public Works: Award a contract to The Experienced Gardener of Visalia, CA to perform spraying services for the City's drainage basins and easements for an amount not to exceed $36.500.
PROCEDURAL WAIVER: Waive reading in full of resolutions and ordinances and approval and adoption of same by reading title only.
GENERAL BUSINESS: A. Parks and Community Services: Approval of a contract for Park Planet for the purchase and construction of one playground structure at Civic Park. B. Public Works: Authorization to purchase the Centracs Essentials system, wireless cellular modems for 18 traffic signals, initial system startup, and preparing signal timing and coordination for the traffic signals from Econolite of Anaheim, CA in the amount of $100,790.00, and appropriate an additional $26,790.00 from Gas Tax Reserves (Fund 0040). C. Public Works: Approval of the purchase and installation of new well equipment from Valley Pump & Dairy Systems, Inc. of Armona and Authorization to take part in the SCE Incentive Grant and Loan programs to fund the project.
